Traditional Five Element Acupuncture : Shen Dao Feng Shui

What is Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture?

Whilst beauty may be regarded as being skin deep it is very dependant upon the state of the 'inner self', and no system understands this better than acupuncture.

The manipulation of Qi through the various meridians is widely shown to enhance well being and promote good health, however, there is another benefit in manipulating the meridians that run specifically throughout the face and that is in tonifying the muscles and skin that may have suffered signs of aging.

Whilst Botox has become popular in the last few years, there are many people who do not wish to have chemicals pumped into their face. For them, facial revitalisation through cosmetic acupuncture has become the primary and safest option for helping to delay the signs of aging.

Working with the Qi within the meridians of the face allows increased blood supply and muscle toning to take place. This can help alleviate wrinkles and sagging that are common to all of us 'of a certain age', and it does so without restricting the facial muscles or tissues the way that chemical treatments can.

Obviously, no-one would claim that it works miracles or even that it works for everyone, a lot can depend on the overall health and well being of the client. Yet, feeling good about the way we look and feel can have far reaching effects upon our life and relationships.

A good consultant can give you a realistic appraisal of what you can expect from facial revitalisation acupuncture based upon your skin and muscle tone, and advise you on some of the things you can do at home to promote self care between treatments.
